Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Wans mobile application ("the App") operated by the Wans team ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Wans. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You retain ownership of the content you create in Wans (moments, activities, memories, photos, etc.). By submitting content to the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your partner.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.

5. Partner Connections

Wans connects you with one partner at a time. When you accept a partner request, certain data (activities, moments, completion status, streaks, mood check-ins) becomes visible to your partner. You accept this data sharing when you form a partnership within the App. Ending the partnership removes the shared connection but does not delete the historical records.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Wans offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. Premium features are described within the App. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers. By subscribing, you agree to the pricing and billing terms shown at the time of purchase. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. We will notify existing subscribers before any price changes take effect.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Wans App โ€” including its design, graphics, logos, code, and content created by us โ€” are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our express written consent.

8. Disclaimers

Wans is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss of data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wans and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we believe your use of the App poses a risk to other users or to the integrity of the Service.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through the courts of competent jurisdiction.
